Welcome Equestrian Singles….
…. to Canada’s newest guest ranch just 4hrs NE of Vancouver. Hidden in the Louis Creek Valley, surrounded by mountains, this ranch is small and exclusive offering a relaxing, tranquil, adult-oriented environment where guests enjoy horseback riding, nature and the outdoors.

We are delighted to open our doors to friends of Equestrian Singles. And especially for those who are considering a solo vacation, we wanted to let you know that we never charge additional supplements for solo travellers! Nor do we give you a broom closet with a tiny bed to sleep in. Our solo travellers get to enjoy the same comfort and facilities as all of our other guests, at exactly the same price. And what a lot we have to offer!
Our Ranch
Whilst the ranch dates back to the 1890’s, the lodge and guest cabins were newly constructed in 2009.
The cabins are nestled in small clearings amongst the trees and each one is furnished with custom-designed, hand constructed, log furniture made a local craftsman. Modern amenities and facilities combined with the rustic style furniture and decor provides guests with an experience that is luxuriously rustic.
The lodge is the hub of activity at the ranch where guests gather for meals, activities and socialising when they’re not out on the trail. There is something for everyone. A fireside lounge for relaxing; TV lounge with DVD library boasting over 100 of the best western and horse related movies ever and a recreation room with pool table, shuffleboard and card table.
Dining at Tod Mountain Ranch is a special experience. Our resident chef creates wholesome, home-cooked meals with an emphasis on locally sourced, fresh seasonal produce. Combining the healthy with the hearthy, this is gourmet cooking with a ranch twist.
Horseback Riding
Horseback riding is the main activity here and because our ranch is small, we offer complete flexibility in the riding programme so that it is geared to the interest level of the guests, with rides varying from an hour to all day rides. Guests are welcome to spend time at the barn getting to know the horses they’ll be riding and helping out with the grooming and saddling. Experienced Wranglers guide you up the mountains surrounding the ranch on an extensive network of old logging roads and cattle trails through the forest to nearby lakes and streams and up into the alpine.
So, whether you’re travelling alone, or with friends, this small yet upscale ranch offers stunning views, great food, good company and a peaceful, calm environment to relax, unwind and forget about the stresses of the real world.
