Fantastic Winter get away. We wanted a quiet base to discover the beauty of this part of Canada and also take in a little skiing. As the slopes are only 15 minutes away your ranch was the perfect location to suit all our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful, our cabin was beautifully furnished and very comfortable, the lodge with its large log fire was absolutely wonderful along with the home cooking which was superb - We can honestly say that the holiday and location exceeded our expectations. Horses, views, food, company, hospitality - all wonderful.  Loved all of it with full days of riding, learning about saddling, safety, horsecare and then a lovely cabin, cosy bed to ready ourselves for another great day.

My special Joker is a dear horse who made me smile every time I saw him.  A special treat was your sweet gang! Black barn cat, the two dogs - Maggie and Mocha.  Thank you for the warm welcome and making the week so pleasant….and for patiently answering a million questions - even if I didn’t really ‘get’ how to do that bloody knot!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful valley.  Alex really enjoyed riding with Cheryl and Jake!

Not often that one can enjoy ’son et lumière’ at a ranch.  The sound of the helicopters and the sight of the fires - all fixed by Wednesday and now peaceful.

Don’t want to leave but we have to move on - there is always next year

Thank you for the wonderful 2 days in your cabin and on your trails.  Wonderful to get back on a horse after 20 years being off.  The forest fires and water bombers were an added bonus.

Thanks everyone for making my stay here a relaxing as well as a  challenging experience.  They say it’s never too late to try something new and it’s turned out to be true for my first time on horseback.

We are so thrilled that we were able to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary as your first cabin guests! 2 trail rides, 1 black bear, 4 deer, playful calves, delicious food and wonderful hosts = perfect retreat!  Thank you Tracey, Cheryl, John x 2, and Mike.  Special Kudos to Billy and Joker for the saddle adventures.  We look forward to visiting you again.
