Wrangler

We are looking for Wranglers with good horsemanship skills to care for our string of horses and provide a safe and enjoyable horseback riding programme for our guests.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Gathering, feeding, grooming & saddling of horses daily
• Guiding trail rides
• Providing basic horsemanship instruction to guests of varying abilities
• Supervise the safety of guests and horses
• Pasture and feed schedule for horses
• Pasture management including fence checking & repairs
• Maintenance of barns, arena and corrals
• Maintenance and cleaning of tack
• Trail clearing and maintenance
• Pre-season preparation and training of horses
• General Ranch Chores

This is a seasonal position and we need you to be available from mid-April – mid-October.

Applicants must have excellent horsemanship and riding skills, with a minimum of two years trail guiding experience. Previous dude/guest ranch experience will be an advantage.  Most importantly you will have a strong work ethic, a love of horses and the ability and desire to share your knowledge with our guests to help fulfill their cowboy dreams.
