Things to Do Near-By
Here is just a taster of the many activities that are available in the surrounding area. We are happy to help you make arrangements to partake in any of these activities. Please note that if you are planning to enjoy activities off the ranch, you will need your own transport.
Fishing
Fly, spin and troll fishing is available at several lakes close to the ranch. Boat, rod and tackle rental is available. The closest is at Heffley Lake just 10 minutes drive from the ranch. The most stunning is at Johnson Lake, the Caribbean of the North, around 40 mins drive away.
Golf
There are thirteen 18-hole golf courses within 45 minutes drive from the ranch. The closest is at Sun Peaks Resort, just 15 mins away.
Sun Peaks Resort
We are less than 15 mins drive from Sun Peaks Resort. The resort offers a wide variety of summer activities including hiking trails, biking trails (cross country & downhill), 18-hole golf course, ATV tours, kayaking & canoeing.
Kamloops
The town of Kamloops is approx. 45 mins drive from the ranch. Kamloops is the second largest city in the BC interior and the “Tournament Capital of Canada.” It maintains 84 municipal parks and world-class sporting facilities. The landscape includes forest, the South Thompson River, lakes and mountains and is home to a wide variety of outdoor activity during the summer months. This includes mountain biking, river rafting, fishing, gold panning, hiking, jet boating, golfing and kayaking.

Barriere
The small town of Barriere is also approx. 45mins drive from the ranch. A real outdoors town, Barriere offers hunting, hiking and fishing during the summer months boasting some of the best fishing in BC in its many lakes and rivers.
