Winter Programme and Rates
Tod Mountain Ranch is the perfect relaxing winter getaway. Situated in the quiet beauty of Louis Creek Valley, we can offer you stunning views, peace and tranquility. Our lodge has a large but cozy living area with fireside lounge, TV lounge, recreation room and dining room. Accommodation in our cabins provides a hint of luxury at the end of the day.
Skiing & Snow Sports
Take advantage of our close proximity to Sun Peaks Ski Resort and enjoy your winter vacation at Tod Mountain Ranch. We are located only 15 mins drive time from the resort.
Enjoy all the activities of Sun Peaks during the day, and then relax in comfort and enjoy the facilities at the ranch in the evening.
Sun Peaks Resort has almost 4,000 acres of skiable terrain, the 2nd largest in BC, 3rd largest in Canada. Activities include:
- Downhill skiing & snowboarding

- Dog sledding
- Skating Rink
- Cross Country Skiing
- Snowmobiling
- Tubing & Tobogganing

Room Only – $120 per cabin (maximum 2 adults & 2 children per cabin)
($200 per cabin on all dates from 23rd December- 3rd January)
Please note that our cabins do not have cooking facilities. The closest restaurants are at Sun Peaks Resort located 15 minutes drive from the ranch.

Take Over The Ranch
Great for groups, we offer you the option of having exclusive use of the ranch for your winter getaway. For only $1,200* per night, this package includes:
- Exclusive use of the ranch and all facilities
- 8 cabins sleeping up to 24 people
- 3,000sq.ft lodge with dining and recreation facilities
- Fully equipped commercial kitchen
- 7-burner commercial BBQ Grill
- Outdoor fire pit

Christmas At The Ranch
$175 per person, per night
Available on all dates from 23rd December 2011 - 3rd January 2012 inclusive
Spend the festive holiday at the ranch and let us take care of the hard work. We take a traditional approach to the Christmas holidays. Our Christmas tree, which was grown here on the ranch, will be decorated with hundreds of twinkly lights and shiny baubles.
On Christmas Eve, after dinner, you can join the local ranchers at the annual carol service at our country church followed by mulled wine and mince pies back at the ranch. Dinner on Christmas Day will be a traditional Christmas feast with roast turkey, baked ham and all the trimmings.
During the day, relax and enjoy the comfort, calm and tranquility of the ranch. Go hiking, snowshoeing or cross country skiing on ungroomed trails around the ranch. Visit Sun Peaks Resort (just 15 minutes away) for downhill and cross country skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiles, dog sledding and sleigh rides. You can even ski with Santa at Sun Peaks on 23rd and 24th December. Rate includes accommodation, all meals, unlimited non-alcoholic drinks & snacks throughout your stay
Please note that we do not operate our horseback riding programme during the winter months. Our horses live on the ranch year round, so you are welcome to visit them in their pasture and even help out at feeding time. Our horseback riding programme is available from May – October.
Fantastic Winter get away. We wanted a quiet base to discover the beauty of this part of Canada and also take in a little skiing. As the slopes are only 15 minutes away your ranch was the perfect location to suit all our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful, our cabin was beautifully furnished and very comfortable, the lodge with its large log fire was absolutely wonderful along with the home cooking which was superb – We can honestly say that the holiday and location exceeded our expectations.
