It is our last evening here and Ken is making something that smells good, our last dinner here. We’ve had excellent meals here for a week and we’re going to miss Ken’s good food. Thank you for this wonderful week with peace and quiet and very nice rides up in the woods here. Canada (BC) has, to us, an unforgettable wildlife! We’ve seen deer, bear, coyote, birds…. Thank you for showing us all this. Thank you all for making this week unforgettable.

These last 3 days have been a fantastic way to end a 3-week holiday in Canada. What could be better - we had top-notch food, excellent accommodation, lovely scenery, great horses, fantastic staff and top horses. It is clear a lot of work has gone into the ranch and is continuing to go into it. The Wranglers, Steve & Cheryl, also do a brilliant job. a big thank you to all t he staff and the horses - Cache, Jake, Jack, Buddy & Joker.

We came up here from Vancouver on a whim… one of those ‘let’s get away weekends’. Little did we know the surprises that were waiting…. not being a ‘cowboy’ or even remotely a ‘horse person’ I was amazed to find myself on Billy, a horse to match my own girth, who ‘caddy style’ worked his way along the trails, in a very accommodating way, accepting the greenhorn who was pretending to ‘drive’… and getting me back to solid ground. Anyways the food, the ambience, the company, the chit chat were all first class.. thanks for all..hope to come again, may even invent in a hat to look the part.

It is so hard to know where to begin with our thanks. The whole experience was special, a perfect blend of simplicity and class. We are leaving feeling relaxed and refreshed. Thanks Tracey for the wonderful opportunity to just sit around and relax. I really enjoyed the 5.5km walk along the road. There is such beautiful scenery around here. We had a great time on the horses having intellectual conversations with Dan, and sitting on the patio drinking beer and admiring the view. You’ve done a fantastic job getting this place up and running.

Elaine is right, you have it just right! The staff and you really know how to treat a guest. Always there when we wanted something but never in the way. And Chef! What can I say. We arrived at dinner, stayed for days and left just after breakfast. I felt full the entire time. Thanks so much.

Thank you for a wonderful experience on your ranch - we’re disappointed that we couldn’t stay any longer. Your heart and soul has gone into making this a most beautiful property - the main lodge makes the most of the stunning view and the cabin was very comfortable and well equipped.
You and your wranglers showed such love and care for the horses and the quality of the horses is what impressed me the most. Cache was a nice introduction but Jake was really the highlight for me. What a beautiful horse!
Thank you to Dan - quite the conversationalist! And thank you to Cheryl for your patience, humour and enthusiasm. Finally, a big thanks to Ken for our delicious tucker.

I have to say a special thanks to Rusty. I love him and would like to take him home but may have to settle for another visit in the future. Your ranch is beautiful and very comfy, just like home. Our English is not good enough to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay in your beautiful ranch. Tracey, you thought about everything to make your guests comfortable. A few days more and we would have felt like home! You also have a great staff: Ken is probably one of the best Canadian Chefs and we surely didn’t expect to eat so well and so much! Cheryl and Dan are very nice and friendly and we shared many good times talking and riding trails (with sometimes funny things happening!) We were very lucky too to be there for the branding of Chris and Gord’s calves. What a wonderful experience! We almost felt like neighbours come to help. A big thank you to you all (including your lovely horses) We hope we can come back soon!

Thank y’all for the best R&R/Vacation I have had in a very good long while. Never once did I feel like just another guest. Y’all made it feel like being part of a family. Fantastic Winter get away. We wanted a quiet base to discover the beauty of this part of Canada and also take in a little skiing. As the slopes are only 15 minutes away your ranch was the perfect location to suit all our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful, our cabin was beautifully furnished and very comfortable, the lodge with its large log fire was absolutely wonderful along with the home cooking which was superb - We can honestly say that the holiday and location exceeded our expectations.
