Dining at Tod Mountain Guest Ranch
Home Cooking With A Ranch Twist
Wholesome, home cooked meals with an emphasis on locally sourced, fresh, seasonal produce and ingredients are served three times a day at our BC Guest Ranch. Combining the healthy with the hearthy, this is the best of homestyle cooking with a ranch twist. Meals are served family style with guests and staff eating together, so you get to know all of your dude ranch family.
A hearty breakfast will be served in the dining room every morning before the rides depart. There will always be a selection of cereals, toast, bagels, muffins or pastries, yoghurts and fresh fruit. To give you the energy to sustain you to lunch time, we also prepare a hot dish of the day - bacon and eggs is a guest ranch favourite.
Lunch is usually an outdoor event, either taken on the ride or enjoyed on the deck. When taking lunch at the ranch, you can expect to enjoy thick home-made soups or deli-style sandwiches one day with fresh pasta dishes the next or maybe delicious salads with grilled chicken or seafood – all served with fresh home baked breads. Out on the trail, picnic lunches will be carried in your saddle bags and might include sandwiches, fresh fruit and cookies.
To satisfy that huge appetite you will have earned after a days riding, dinner is a 3-course feast of home style cooking using the freshest ingredients, many sourced from right here in British Columbia. All of our meals are made from scratch making it easy for us to cater to varying dietary requirements. If you have any special dietary requirements, just let us know in advance.
Saturday night is BBQ night! This a more casual, relaxed outdoor dining experience featuring juicy steaks or baby back ribs straight from the grill, accompanied with a range of freshly prepared salads
Tea, Coffee, soft drinks, fresh fruit and snacks are always available.
Please note meal times are tech free and we kindly ask all of our guests to refrain from using electronic devices at the dining table during mealtimes.
