Tod Mountain Ranch
Located in the Southern Interior of British Columbia, Canada, and just 4 hours drive from Vancouver, the ranch is the perfect mid-way stop between Vancouver and Banff or Jasper.
Horseback riding is all we do here and because our ranch is small, we offer complete flexibility in the riding programme so that it is geared to the interest level of the guests. Regardless of whether this is your first horseback riding experience, or you are a seasoned rider, we will match you with the perfect horse and he will be yours for the duration of your stay. Guests are welcome to spend time at the barn getting to know the horses they’ll be riding and we offer a total immersion experience for those guests who want to have a more hands-on experience with all aspects of the care and ownership of their horse.
Our team of experienced Wranglers guide you into the mountains surrounding the ranch on an extensive network of old logging roads and cattle trails through the forest to nearby lakes and streams and up into the alpine.
When you’re not riding, the lodge is the hub of activity at the ranch where guests gather for meals, activities and socialising. What could be better than a day spent in the saddle exploring old logging and stock trails and breathing in that fresh mountain air, followed by a cool drink out on the deck watching the sun set. Enjoy a delicious home cooked meal and share a drink and stories with new found friends. Relax watching an old movie, or try your hand at cards before you fall into bed in the peace and quiet of your private cabin. Modern amenities and facilities combined with the rustic style furniture and decor provides guests with an experience that is luxuriously rustic.
